Well, we all knew that Dick and his cat Tommy would triumph over evil King Rat, but the production itself was a triumph! Congratulations must firstly go to Mo Peters, who produced and directed the show with such energy and flair. The set was fantastic, costumes and make-up brilliant, backstage worked their socks off, and the cast was strong throughout, with notably assured performances from all the younger members. Rowan Knox-Langford thoroughly deserved the Youth Shield for his frightening King Rat. It was also good to see a number of promising young newcomers in the cast. Audiences were generally good and generous in their appreciation of the show. For some photos, go to Productions – you can see from these that everyone was having a lot of fun!
