St Georges School is recovering from a particularly disastrous re-union! Not only was the signature dish for the evening ruined by a mysterious fire in the kitchen, but the fund-raising evening was disrupted by a series of murders! Fortunately Clouseau-esque Inspector Gough was able to sort out the perpetrator – ‘don’t panic!’ – as did many of the audience for the three sell-out performances. As for who done it, I am not at liberty to divulge this, as there is a possibility of a repeat performance in the summer.
Shelley Pitter and Martin Dearlove’s sharp script was played expertly by her ‘Dream Cast’ (yes – that was what she said!) and thoroughly enjoyed by the audiences for all three nights. Congratulations are also due to Marg Plumb and Robin Porteous for mistress- and master- minding the impressive catering operation.
There will be an airing of the video for cast members on Sunday 15th December.
